Careers Advice is a private career consultancy set up to meet the needs of today’s job market, where change is constant and rapid. Those joining the workforce today are looking for employment that will enhance their lifestyle rather than a job that will take over their lives and limit their choices.

It is important that newcomers to the job market and those preparing for the workforce are well educated on how to get what they want.

By providing this service online we are considering your need for advice and support at a time that suits you. CAREERSAdvice provides the information electronically and supports your needs quickly and efficiently. Face to Face consultations are available at our Point Cook office on Wednesdays and Saturdays by appointment. Follow up online support is also offered.

Enid Stein – Principal Consultant of CAREERSAdvice

Enid Stein has many years of professional experience as an educator in the secondary, tertiary and private sector. She has held many positions of responsibility in curriculum development and delivery of targeted programs and in school administration. Her most recent experience is in Career Education at a P-12 College responsible for the designing, developing and delivery of services in career development for all students. She has extensive experience working one-to-one in career counselling and coaching with senior students using a variety of career tools and empowering students to develop their own career development plans.

Outside of the education sector she has been involved in management with direct marketing companies and in church property development and administration.

Enid’s qualifications include a postgraduate Certificate in Career Development and a postgraduate Diploma in Educational Studies (Health Education).

It has given me a clear indication of the different pathways i can take.
And i was actually looking at the same things you were in relation to courses, so i think i might just do what you suggested.
Apply to courses through VTAC and see what I'm offered and if I get accepted into anything, i will then decide wether to defer or start working on a traneeship.
